There are 3 main reasons for applying graphics to glass surfaces:
1. Advertising Purposes - the most common form of graphics on glass. These are usually fitted to shop windows and can promote a variety of products and services, or simply just inform people of opening times etc.
2. Health & Safety - there are specific legal requirements regarding clear glass partitions and glass curtain walling in offices and showrooms. To prevent people walking into them banding and decorative designs are used to catch the eye.
3. Security - areas where money is handled (commonly behind shop counters) which are visible through windows can be obscured with sheets of vinyl.
