Tactile Lettering For A Tower Block In Charlestown

Situated in the heart of Charlestown, North Manchester, Whitebeck Court is an imposing 16 storey tower block. Unfortunately, this site was left to stand empty and unused for over three years. The Wates Living Space company was engaged to implement a £8.9m comprehensive refurbishment so that Whitebeck Court could be brought back to life as 91 extra care apartments. The refurbishment was a flagship project for Northwards Housing. As such the build standards were incredibly high. Manchester Signs was more than up to the task and designed a range of signage to complement the architects plans. Exterior signs were made from stainless steel, the interior floor signs were made with frosted acrylic with braille and tactile lettering. Our specialist signmakers fitted engraved plates and printed fire door signs on every floor of the building. The Charlestown Whitebeck Court project was completed to budget and on time despite a very tight deadline.
